It’s not exactly a list for Crime Stoppers to publish and it’s certainly not a line-up of names and photos you might see as leading contenders on the FBI’s most wanted agenda.

However, Lebanon High School’s class of 1960 is looking for a few missing classmates.

According to Terry McDonald and George Thomas, two of the principal organizers of the class’s upcoming 50-year reunion, their class was “very close during our LHS days and we have held reunions every five years with pretty good attendance. But there are just a few classmates we cannot seem to track down.”

Thomas, who served as class president, said he “wants to make sure every member of the class gets the message” about the reunion event because as he noted, the 50-year mark “is special” and “clearly represents a milestone.”

The LHS reunion event is set for Saturday, June 26, and is to be held at the Five Oaks Golf and Country Club.

A committee of 14 graduates from the 1960 class is working on “making this an exciting event,” according to McDonald, who chairs the committee.

McDonald said at this time he and the committee are trying to find addresses, contact information and telephone numbers for several members of the 1960 class.

Among those on the list of missing classmates are William Ashe, Bill Bettes, Robert Carroll, Margaret Hall Howells, Betty Jean Morse Shannon, Reba Page, Bobbie Jean Peak Pippen, Della Winfree Carroll, Eula Mai Haynes Lawrence, Leonard Paris, Nannette Hagan Fizette and Evelyn Sisk Waller.

“If anyone can help me get in contact with these classmates it would be greatly appreciated. We want all classmates to attend and enjoy the very special reunion,” McDonald said.

To get in touch with McDonald persons should 453-4237 or email him at twinsfeathers@aol.com.
