9AAA tennis tourney updates



Both Hendersonville and Mt. Juliet received byes into the semifinals round.


On the boys side, top-seeded Hendersonville will face Station Camp, a 4-0 winner over Gallatin on Monday. Second-seeded Beech will face third-seeded Mt. Juliet, a 4-0 winner over Lebanon.


The finals are scheduled for May 6.


The district coaches held their annual meeting on Thursday to also determine the draw for this years individual tournament, which begins Monday at noon and concludes Tuesday. Both days will be played at Memorial Park in Hendersonville.


On the girls singles side, Hendersonvilles Sarah Hall and Gallatins Tsali Franklin are the top two seeds. On the boys side, Beechs Joseph Daniels and Hendersonvilles Kato Richardson are the top two seeds.


In girls doubles, Mt. Juliets Alli Groome and Taylor Bounds and Beechs Brooks and Chelsea Cox are the top two seeds. On the boys side, Hendersonvilles Braden White and Blair Godsey and Mt. Juliets Matt Stanley and Alec Groome are the top two seeds.
