LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, December 16 at the Partlow Chapel for Mrs. Summers, 91, of Lebanon. A homemaker and a member of the Holliday Heights Baptist Church, she died Dec. 14, 2008 at the Cedars / Quality Health Care Center.
Services were conducted by Pastor David Freeman. Interment followed at the National Cemetery in Nashville.
Survivors include: daughter Shirley (Ed) Nelson of Lebanon; grandchildren Mitch (Cindy) Harel and Phyllis (Scott) Worley; great grandchildren Jessica Harel, Allie Harel and Hannah Harel; and great, great grandchild Jayden Harel.
Mrs. Summers is preceded in death by parents Pearl and Active pallbearers: Ed Nelson, Mitch Harel, Scott Worley, Robert Kindrat, Justin Bruce and Danny Wynn.
The family offers a special thank you to the staff of Cedars / Quality Health Care Center. Memorial donations should be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 18 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Pister, 67, of Brentwood.
Born in Priest River, ID and a graduate of Moxee High in Moxee, WA, Mrs. Pister died December 15, 2008. She was member of the Grand Ole Doll Club.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. Services will be conducted by Ann Taylor Owen. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: husband Larry Eugene Pister; granddaughters Savannah and Rachel Pister; brother Jay Crist; sister Shirley Pride; dear friends Janice Owen and Betty Perry; and special friend Jan Bernardini. Mrs. Pister was preceded in death by son Donald Eugene Pister.

LEBANON -- Graveside funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 18 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens for Mr. Hudson, 60, of Lebanon. Mr. Hudson passed away on December 16, 2008.
Visitation is set Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home, Baddour Parkway, in Lebanon.
Survivors include mother Mary Magdalene Hudson, caregivers Don and Joy Presley and numerous family members. He is preceded in death by father James Hudson Sr.

BARTLETT -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, December 19 at the Faith Baptist Church, N. Germantown Road, for Mrs. Bryan, 88, a longtime resident of Memphis.
The widow of the late Wallace G. Bryan, she passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008 in Louisville, KY.
She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church where visitation will be held Thursday 5-7 p.m. and Friday one hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill East.
Survivors include: sons Jack L. (Janie) Bryan of Charlotte, NC; William T. (Norris) Bryan of Bartlett and J. Kenneth Bryan of Louisville, KY.
Also surviving are grandchildren Deborah B. Parrott, John D. (Brandi) Bryan, William H. Bryan, Gina L. (Michael) Deatherage and Amy L. (James) Hurt; as well as nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Faith Baptist Church Missions.
