LEBANON -- Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 2 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Robinson, 76, of Lebanon. Widow of the late Wayne J. Robinson, she passed away Tuesday, Mar. 30, 2010 at her residence.
The daughter of the late Pete & Ella Barrett, Mrs. Robinson was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a retired nurse. During her nursing career she worked for TRW, Dr. Morris Ferguson and Dr. Samad.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12 Noon until the service. Services will be conducted by Pastor John Hunn. Interment will be at the Sycamore Cemetery.
Survivors include: son Michael W. (Regina) Robinson, grandchildren Tiffany (Justin) Harris, Samantha Robinson and Caroline Robinson. Also surviving are sisters Inez Wiley, Jean Chapman and Erline Clayborn; sisters-in-law Barbara Barrett and Charlotte (Ken) Adcock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
LEBANON -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mrs. Vanhook, 88, of Lebanon. Widow of the late J.W. Vanhook and co-owner of the Daisy Shop, she died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at her home.
A native of Wilson County and the daughter of the late David Frank and Laura Hastings Laine, she and her late husband found success in home construction and over a span of 45 years built hundreds of homes in the area.
She was a loyal member of First Baptist Church, Lebanon, where she was involved with the Triple L Club and the Donnell Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends Friday between the hours of 2-8 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Don McElroy with burial at Wilson County Memorial gardens.
Survivors include: daughters Elaine (Charles) Bell, Peggy (Johnny) Keel and Nancy (Frank) Eubank.
Also surviving are siblings: Dorothy Locke, Shirley (Tony) Dematteo, Frank (Dimple) Laine, Jr. and Linda (Bobby) Yarbrough; grandchildren Jack (Melia) Bell, Rick Bell, Jeff (Nicole) McMillen and Laura Jill McMillen; step-grandchildren Todd Keel, Chris Eubank and Brett Eubank; sister-in-law Mary Thompson; great grandchildren Weston Bell, Bronson Bell, Gavin McMillen and Liam McMillen.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded ind death by siblings Ralph Laine, Iva Dell McMinn, David Laine and Martha Bell.
Active pallbearers: Tiff Arnold, Tommy Arnold, Craig Laine, Troy Laine, Nick C. Locke, Jim Stallings and Robert Turner. Honorary: Evelyn Anderson, Mildred Cason, Willette Reed, Sis. AAA Stafford and the Donnell Sunday School Class.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, April 2 at the Victory Baptist Church for Mr. Robert Lee "Bob" Wood, Sr., 70, of Old Hickory. Founder of ATS Southeast, Inc., Mr. Wood died Mar. 30, 2010.
Most recently, he served as VP Development at Wood Group Enterprises and was a 14-year Trustee of Belmont University. Born in Fort Worth, TX to James and Frances Wood, he was a veteran, having served in the United States Army and continued his service with the United States Army Reserve until being honorably discharged.
He attended William and Mary and Trevecca Universities, as well as Draughons Junior College. Mr. Wood originally came to Nashville to work at H G Hills, where he was employed for many years. He later worked for Terminal Freight (Sears) before starting his own logistics company, ATS Southeast, Inc. (formerly Rent-A-Driver, Inc.), from where he retired last year. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, a member of The Jere Baxter-Edgefield Masonic Lodge #254 and an Al Menah Shriner. Mr. Wood was a member of the Music City Bop Club and owner of Dance Discovery. He was also a supporter of numerous charities and the performing arts, including the Nashville Symphony and Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Visitation, Friday from 12 Noon until the service at Victory Baptist Church. Services will be conducted by Rev. Chuck Groover and Dr. Raymon Leake. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: his wife Joetta Hill Wood of Old Hickory; children Robert "Bobby" L. (Mary Kay) Wood, Jr. and Reena (fiancé, Sean) Wood-Smith -- all of of Mt. Juliet; children by marriage Tana (Bryan) Lewis of Nashville and Mark (Jennifer) Hill of Mt. Juliet;
Also surviving are grandchildren Kelsie and Robert "Trey" L. Wood III, Chipper and Caitlyn Smith, Alyssa and Sam Wood, Peyton and Gracie Hill and Sadye Lewis; siblings Joe (Sherry) Wallace Wood, Jean Branch and Joan Howell; mother-in-law Daisy Daniel; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi H. Wood; son Stephen W. Wood; father U.S. Army Chaplain, Lt. Col. James A. Wood, Sr.; mother Frances M. Wood; and brothers John Wood and James A. Wood, Jr.
Active pallbearers will include Darren Davenport, Sean Flanagan, Allen Hamilton, Mark Hill, Dale Saxon and Todd Wood. Honorary: Joe Wallace Wood, Ollie Cole, Jim Dickerson and the Mackinac Island "Grand" Friends.
