NASHVILLE -- Mrs. Webb, of Donelson, passed away July 10, 2010 following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, July 13 at the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she is preceded in death by her husband Philip Gary Webb, Sr. and sister Peggy Milton Brandt.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her children Penny A. Webb of Hermitage and Philip G. Webb (Susan) of Lebanon; grandchildren Wes and Evan Webb; sisters Gene Cope and Del Elkins; brother George Milton (Jean); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

OLD HICKORY -- Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, July 10 at the Hermitage Funeral Home for Capt. Davidson, 46, of Hattiesburg, MS.
Captain Davidson, who served his country proudly in the US Army Rangers and Special Forces, died July 4, 2010.
Survivors include: his wife Julie Palmer Davidson; children Anna Kate Davidson, Christen Brooke Davidson and Samuel James Davidson; mother Carol Louise Leggett Davidson; brothers Bo, Mike and Scott Davidson.
He is preceded in death by father, William Joseph Davidson.
Interment was Monday afternoon at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

WATERTOWN -- Funeral services for Mr. Statzer were held Tuesday afternoon, July 13, at Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Statzer, 56, of Lebanon.
The former owner of Lebanon Monument Company, he died July 10, 2010 at the University Medical Center in Lebanon.
Services were conducted by Brother Stephen Manley. Interment followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include: children Angela Raymond of Lebanon and Edward Statzer of Oklahoma; grandchildren Ethan and Anthony Raymond, Garrett and Tori Ashford; mother Shirley Hughes of Lebanon; siblings James Statzer of Granville, Cheryl Friedhof of Lebanon, Patricia Taylor of Advance, Ind., Susan Anderson of Panama City, Fla., Cynthia Lacey of Sevierville and Deborah Spires of Cincinnati, Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Statzer was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Statzer; and brother, John Statzer.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.

LEBANON -- Wilson County native Gary Boykin passed away on July 11, 2010 at age 57.
A celebration of life will be held between the hours of 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at 1043 Pittman Drive in Gallatin.
Survivors include sons L.T. Boykin and Chris (Alexis) Kirby, and grandchildren Summer, Sydney, and Avery Kirby.
He is preceded in death by parents Walter Lewis and Mary Lucille Rittenberry Boykin.

OLD HICKORY -- Graveside services were conducted Friday morning, July 9 at Hermitage Memorial Gardens for Mrs. Foster, 63, of Mt. Juliet.
She passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010.
Survivors include: children April Foster, Tony Gass and Stephen Gass; grandchildren Brandon and Troy Gass; mother Margarine E. Wright.
Also surviving are siblings: James C. Wright, William W. Wright, Elaine Williams and Virginia L. Gregory; half-sisters Joyce Quinn and Gertie Pugh.

LEBANON -- Graveside services were held Monday morning, July 12 at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens for Mrs. Furlong, 88, of Lebanon.
A homemaker and a member of the Baptist church, she passed away Friday July 9, 2010 at the University Medical Center.
Services were conducted by Brother David Humphrey.
Survivors include: children Stanley (Dee) Coker of Louisania, Agnes (Dale) Jennings of Lebanon, Katie (Bob) Lane of Murfreesboro, Phyllis (Clarence) Hall of Knoxville and Debbie Adair of Dixon Springs.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Furlong is preceded in death by parents Robert L. Sr. and Carrie Cornelia Watt Shaver; husband Willie Furlong; siblings R.L. Shaver Jr., Eugene Shaver, Annie Gray Coile and Nellie Avrie Barnett; son-in-law Tommy Adair.

LEBANON -- Graveside services were held Monday afternoon, July 12 at the Bethlehem Cemetery in the Tuckers Cross Roads Community for Mrs. Tippit, 101, of Nashville.
A Wilson County native, Mrs. Tippit passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the Smith County Health Care in Carthage.
The daughter of the late James A. and Hattie Allen Belcher, she attended Tuckers Cross Roads School and Cumberland Preparatory School. Mrs. Tippit worked for the Tennessee Department of Public Health. Services were conducted by Dr. John Cheetham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vesta O. Tippit on March 23, 1992; and a brother Howard Belcher in 1982.
She is survived by several cousins.

LEBANON -- Richard Hart of Hartsville passed away on July 10, 2010 at age 77.
A memorial service, conducted by Brother Don Willis, was held Tuesday afternoon, July 13 at Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Barbara Maxwell Hart; sister Hazle Louise Bacon; six daughters, four sons as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents James Richard and Mary Elizabeth Tinkle Hart, and brothers Leon Forrest Hart Jr. and Jr. Hart.
