MT. JULIET -- Mr. Harris, 71, of Mt. Juliet died Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Mr. Harris "Jim" to his friends, was the son of the late, James R. Harris, Sr. and Anna Louise Templeton Harris.
At Mr. Harris’ request, his remains were cremated. Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 12 Noon Saturday, August 28 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
Survivors include: wife Barbara Ann Harris; children Richard Harris, David Timothy (Joyce) Harris, David Anthony (Christina) Harris, Deborah Sullavin and Nichole Harris Dixon.
Also surviving are grandchildren Zach Sullavin, Ashley Harris, Lorrey Harris, Rebecca Mueller and Catie Mueller; siblings Bill Harris, Jerry Wayne Harris, Dot Cole and Kat Wade; sister-in-law Roberta (John) Kidd, aunt Corine along with nieces and nephews Jennifer Kidd, John Kidd and Alicia Capshaw.

NASHVILLE -- Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, August 27 at the Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, for Mrs. Davis, 78, of Mt. Juliet.
A member of the Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, she died Aug. 24, 2010.
Devoted to her family, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Mr. Raymond Elvin Davis, Sr.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, one hour prior to the service.
Services will be conducted by Brother David Shannon. Burial will follow at the historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include: Raymond E. "Buddy" (Pam) Davis, Jr., Tommy Davis, Mary (Bob) Simmons and Sue (Robert) Taylor.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and brother Billy Smith.
Family and grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, August 25 at Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway, for Mr. Martin, 56, of Mt. Juliet.
A talented musician who traveled with the Gospel Three, he died Aug. 22, 2010.
Services were conductd by Rev. Bernie Deffinger. Interment followed at Caraway Cemetery in Gladeville.
Survivors include: wife Paulette Martin; parents Charles & Pearl Martin; daughters Angela (James) Thomas and Tracey Reynolds; brother Jerry (Susan) Martin; sister Charlene (Doug) Elliott; granddaughters Kassie Strain, Cierra White, Jessica Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds and Madison Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother Charles Ray Martin and sister Carol Lynn Webb.

HARTSVILLE -- A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday August 28 at Anthony Funeral Home, 337 McMurry Blvd., in Trousdale County for Mrs. Osborne, 59, of Hartsville.
Born March 7, 1951 in Chapel Hill, NC, she died Aug. 24, 2010 at Lebanon's University Medical Center.
Mrs. Osborne was Director of Nutritional Services and Diabetes Center Coordinator at Riverview Medical Center, Carthage.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 27 yrs Harvey Freeman and children Megan Lynne Freeman of Lafayette and Petty Officer 3rd class Scott Freeman of Everette, WA.
Also surviving is grandson Kadyn Alexander Freeman of Cottontown, siblings Karen Taylor of Birmingham, AL, Teri Osborne of Newark, DE, Lloyd Allen Osborne III of Spring, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was the daughter of the late Col.(Ret.) Lloyd Allen Osborne and Norma Nell Burge Osborne. , Hartsville.

LEBANON -- Bill Oberdorf passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at age 53.
The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway between the hours of 4-8 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. until service on Saturday.
The chapel service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 1 p.m. Saturday, August 28.
Interment will follow in the Old Salem Cemetery, Liberty.
Pallbearers will include: Charlie Madison, Ed Good, Richard Hudson, Paul Harvey, Scott Hough and John Willis. Honorary: Boyd Hale.
Survivors include wife Debbie McDowell Oberdorf of Liberty; daughter Stacey (Paul) Harvey of Mt. Juliet and step-son Charlie (Cassie) Madison -- all of Mt. Juliet; father William Oberdorf Sr.; sister Leslie (Kenny) Ryder; godchild Rachel Marie Hudson; special family friends Mariann and Richard Hudson and Ed Good as well as many beloved pets.
He is preceded in death by mother Mittie Oberdorf.
