WATERTOWN -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Nov. 8 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Sweeney, 50, of Watertown.
Employed in airport security, he died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Born in August, 1960 in New Orleans, La., he was a 1978 graduate of Father Ryan High School and Belmont University.
Interment was at Hearn Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include: parents Brian Joseph Sweeney Sr. and Mary Kay Sweeney of Brentwood; siblings Kathleen (Johnny) Freeman and Sean (Joan) Sweeney -- all of Murfreesboro; Kevin Sweeney of Brentwood and Bill (Jena) Sweeney of Smyrna. Also surviving are eight nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and May Sweeney and Bernard and Alice McSharry.

A veteran, he died Nov. 4, 2010.

MT. JULIET -- Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Mrs. Martin, 79, of Mt. Juliet.
She died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at Nashville's Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mrs. Martin was a Methodist and worked as a secretary with the First United Methodist Church in Donelson, as well as with the State of Tennessee in the accounting department.
Visitation Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service.
Services will be conducted by Brother Danny Sellars. Interment follows at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

LEBANON -- Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at Wilson County Funeral Home on South Maple Street for Mr. Nichols, 79, of Lebanon.
Known as "Nick" to his family and friends, he died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at his residence.
A native of Pittsburgh, PA., he lived in Lebanon for the last 31 years.
He was the son of the late Harrie Sr. and Anna Mae Lucas Nichols, Mr. Nichols was a veteran, having served in the US Navy for three years and with the US Army for seven years as a member of the 101st Airborne Screamin' Eagles.
For the last several years of his working life, he was worked at Cedar Forest Market.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park.

Retired from Lebanon Garment Company after 45 years of service, she died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon.
She attended Lebanon First United Methodist Church.

MT. JULIET – Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 9 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet for Ms. Wells, 96, of Hermitage.
Retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board, she died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at Medical Center of Manchester.
Ms. Wells was the oldest member of New Hope Baptist Church -- a member for 85 years, as well as a longtime member of Mt. Juliet Senior Citizens Center and Gladeville's "Going Like 60" Group.
Services were conducted by Pastor Raymond Vogtner. Interment followed at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 9, at the College Hills Church of Christ for Mrs. Dill, 59, of Lebanon.
A veteran educator as well as beloved mother, wife and friends, she died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at her home following an extended illness.
Born April 21, 1951 in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Edna Trice Reed.
Mrs. Dill earned a bachelors degree in home economics from MTSU and received her masters degree in food and nutrition from UT-Knoxville, in addition to her teaching certificate.
She spent 30 years teaching in Wilson County and the Lebanon Special School District.
A member of the College Hills Church of Christ, she was involved in various community activities, and enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family.
Services were conducted by Dr. Larry Locke and Rev. David Hesson.
Interment was at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include: her husband of 33 years Ken Dill; children Anne (Alan) Wood of Clarksville; Sarah (Robert) Blanshan of Rochester, MN; and Taylor Dill of Lebanon; siblings Elizabeth (Robert) Smith of Greenville, KY; James (Penny) Reed and Billy Earl (Glenda) Reed -- of Lebanon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Bobby Jane (Ronald) Nokes.

LEBANON -- Diane North passed away on Nov. 4, 2010 at age 56.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway.
Born June 23, 1954 in Lebanon, Ms. North was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a longtime employee of University Medical Center.

A former systems analyst for GTE and a National Certified Swim Official, he was the son of the late Helen Richards Cash and Wilbur J. Cash.
Mr. Cash received undergraduate degrees from, loved and strongly supported -- the University of Tampa and the University of Illinois.
Survivors include: his wife of over 50 years Ruth Phelps Cash and son Robert R. (Helene) Cash.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cash is preceded in death by brother Robert F. Cash.
