Field will be named for Foster

LEGENDARY LHS BASEBALL COACH

The baseball field at the new Lebanon High School will bear the name of Brent Foster after action Monday night by the Wilson County Board of Education.

Foster, head coach of the LHS baseball program for 11 seasons between the years 1964 - 1975, piled up a record of 249-52 with six TSSAA district titles and four divisional crowns.

Foster was inducted into the inaugural Lebanon High Sports Hall of Fame in December of 2007.
