My mom went sleeveless despite the snow and cold

The weather has caused one problem after another.

My wifes complaining because weve had to start mowing our yard much earlier than last year.

The host site for the Masters Golf Tournament, the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., says the early warm weather caused dogwoods and azaleas to bloom early leaving the golf course and its surroundings absent of the usual vivid pinks and reds traditionally seen throughout television coverage of the event over Easter weekend.

Not snorkeling the Pacific Coast

When we booked the tour to Costa Rica the first thing I packed was my snorkeling gear. I just knew after having such a good time on other trips that the Pacific waters would be beckoning me to see beautiful fish and underwater sites.

Our 120- passenger sailing boat was equipped for water sports but when I took my dive equipment down to get into the water, I was informed that the snorkel could not be used -- someone had an injury on a prior trip and they were afraid for us to use it.

American Pickers pick on Alexandria picker

For more than 30 years, he has been scouring the highways and byways of America buying the rare or unusual and turning it over for a profit.

Picking is the art of purchasing antiques, collectibles or other objects with the knowledge that you already have a buyer in mind who will readily pay you a profit for the item.

And recently, Moses got picked.

Construction driving West Wilson UD's costs

Almost 30,000 Wilson County residents receive their water from three local non-government utility districts, and the largest, West Wilson Utility District, sports the highest rates in the county, thanks to a number of factors.

For the use of about 5,000 gallons of water per month, which is a general average for West Wilson, Laguardo Utility District and Gladeville Utility District, customers can expect to pay around $50 a month.
