A pair of tough road games over a three-day stretch loom on the horizon for the Cumberland mens basketball team. Lonnie Thompsons Bulldogs will venture to Huntsville, Alabama Saturday for a 9 p.m. game with Oakwood College followed by a Monday, Dec. 3 contest at nationally-ranked Freed-Hardeman.

WC splits with Antioch Thursday

WILDCATS HEAD TO KY SATURDAY
GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central's basketball teams split a home doubleheader Thursday night with Antioch High -- the girls losing 51-46 and the boys taking a 66-54 win in the nightcap.

The Lady Wildcats (now 2-2) led 37-33 after three quarters, but saw Antioch pull away with an 18-9 edge in the fourth quarter. Rachel Bean had 21 for WCHS and Dominique St. Louis chipped in with 11 points. Wilson Central will entertain Knox Central in a girls-only contest Friday at 6 p.m.
