Four charged with TennCare fraud

TennCare fraud charges are lodged against four people in Wilson County who are part of an undercover operation that netted approximately 46 individuals, all for drug-related crimes.

The operation involved the Lebanon Police Narcotics Unit, Office of Inspector General (OIG), Wilson County Sheriffs Department, the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the TBI. All the charges involved people selling prescription drugs.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Jerry Milton Houston, 70, of Mt. Juliet. Founder of Mt. Juliet's popular Houston's Meat& Produceand a member of the Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary, Mr. Houston died Saturday, May 25, 2013.

A member of Green Hill Church of Christ, he started in the grocery business in 1972 at Green Hill Market and owned / operated Suggs Creek Market for several years.

He founded Houstons Meat & Produce and operated it for over 20 years. He was a member of Big Brothers of Mt. Juliet and an avid golfer -- playing with The Nice Guys and The Tuesday Shootout at Wintree Golf Course.
