Cumberland University moved up five spots to No. 20 in the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 poll released Monday by the national office.
The Bulldogs defeated Bethel Univ., 23-17, on the road last week and have been ranked in the Top 25 for the last five weeks.
Cumberland, 6-2 overall and 2-1 in the Mid-South West Division, hosts Union College this Saturday at 12 Noon at Lindsey Donnell Stadium-Kirk Field.
Union ranks in the Top 10 nationally in six categories, scoring 42.3 points per game and racking up just over 500 yards of total offense per contest.
Cumberland counters with a defense that ranks in the Top 20 in the country in nine categories, allowing just 16.3 points and 259.5 yards per outing. The Bulldogs limited Bethel to 309 total yards last week after the Wildcats entered the game averaging more than 45 points and 455 yards of offense per contest.
