Mr. Brockman, 62, died Friday March 9, 2012 at his residence.
A graduate of the University of West Florida and Troy University, he was a member of St. Frances Cabrini and St. Stephens Catholic Church, a US Navy and retired Air Force veteran with 27 years of service.
Mr. Brockman was retired from TSA, a former Highway patrolman and law enforcement officer in Pensacola, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Doyle Brockman.
Survivors include: his wife of 41 years, Julie Brockman; sons Charles Paul (Nicole) Brockman Jr., Erick Brockman, Jason (Crystal) Brockman and Sean Brockman; daughter Janelle(Chris) Allison; brothers, Bill (Kelly) Brockman, Tom Brockman, & Johnny Brockman; sisters, Patty Pigg, Mary Morris and Jeannie (Chris) Blake; grandchildren Austin Brockman, Dylan Allison, Dalton Allison, Grayson Brockman, Avery Brockman, Diane Allison, Lia Brockman and Jayme Allison; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday morning, March 13 at the St. Stephens Catholic Church in Mt. Juliet. Services were conducted by Father Pat Kibby and Father Eugene Casserly.
Interment was in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram. Family members served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: Knights of Columbus Council 9787.
The family request donations be made in Mr. Brockmans memory to the American Diabetes Association.
