Wilson County Christmas for All will have its annual Open House and Volunteer Orientation at the Turner Evans Building at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center on Monday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
“Everyone is invited,” said Christmas for All President, Jim Harding. “It’s a good time for interested folks to see how we operate and to sign up as a volunteer.”
Christmas for All coordinators will be on hand to explain the different areas of the program, from the warehouse to administrative offices.
“We have a job for everyone and since we are open five and a half days during the week, there are plenty of choices,” said board member, Linda Schenk.
The Christmas for All program will begin distribution of toys on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Applications for assistance are available in the foyer of the Department of Human Services on North Cumberland Street in Lebanon.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer, sponsoring a child or family, or making a donation can come Monday night, call 547-1106, or stop by the office at the Ward Ag Center. Donations can also be mailed to P.O. Box 922 in Lebanon. Toy donations can also be dropped off at any Toys for Tots collection point in Wilson County.
