Cleve did some outstanding things here -- certainly winning a state championship was huge, and working so well with our young kids, said FCS athletic director John McNeal. He lives on that side of Nashville, so hell be cutting his drive time in half with the job at Ensworth.

McNeal said the search for a replacement was in the early stages.

A longtime AAU coach, Harris came to FCS from Christ Presbyterian Academy where he served as assistant varsity basketball coach and head coach of middle school basketball.

Harris attended Memphis East High, played basketball at Motlow State Community College and at Union in Jackson.
