LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 3 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Summers, 84, of Lebanon.
A veteran of the US Army and former plant manager of the Lebanon Democrat, he died Thursday Sept. 30. 2010 at the Nashville V.A. Hospital.
Mr. Summers was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ.
Services were conducted by Bro. Wayne Miller and Bro. Joe Widick. Interment followed at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors includeL his wife of 67 years Gladys Summers; son George L. (Stephonia) Summers, Jr.; sister Ann Cunningham; grandchildren Laura (Jeremy) Tudor and Bradley Summers; great grandchildren Alayna & Nicholas Summers.
He is preceded in death by his parents John nad Nancy Hill Summers; son Garry Lee Summers.  
Pallbearers: Carlin Brooks, Bob Chaffin, Mike Flanagan, Kai Grissim, Trice Sampson, Brian Cluck, Jeremy Tudor and Pete Heckman.
Arrangements by Partlow Funeral Chapel.

U.S. Army Special Forces Staff Sgt. Mason Alkire speaks to the crowd about the honor and duty of U.S. Armed Forces personnel and veterans at the Lebanon Veterans Day celebration on Wednesday. Behind him is the monument honoring all residents of Wilson County who have died in every American war. The name of U.S. Army Spc. Jonathon C. O’Neill of Watertown was added to the monument this year. He died as a result of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device was detonated near his vehicle in Afghanistan in June.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, Oct. 2 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mrs. Miller, 57, of Lebanon.
She died Sept. 30, 2010 following an extended illness.
Services were conducted by Brother Rodney Haskins. Interment followed in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include husband of 39 years, Andy Miller; sons Brian (Elizabeth) Miller, Adam Miller and Travis Miller; mother Dorothy Cunningham; siblings Norma Jean “Fuzzy” (Michael) Gregory, John Wayne Cunningham, Doyle “Bebo” Cunningham and Teresa (Ron) Robinson; grandchildren Annaleece Miller, Landon Miller Izabella Miller; best friend Darlene Smith; along with numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father Dallas Cunningham.
Pallbearers:  Chad Cunningham, Corey Cunningham, Will Kennedy, Waylon Kennedy, Gordon Smith and David Humes.
Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Sellars Funeral Home on the Baddour Parkway for Mr. Smith, 41, of Mt. Juliet.
He died Sept. 29, 2010.
Services were conducted by Rev. Mark Youngman. Interment followed in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. 
Survivors include: his wife of 15 years Donna Fant Smith; children Kylie Smith, Lindi Smith, Joey Parkhurst and Brandi (Kurt) Richards; mother Lois Woodcock Smith; brother Bill Smith; and grandchildren Lincoln Richards and Mela Richards.
He is preceded in death by father Jerry Lane Smith.
Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon.
