County boys hoops from Jan. 4

Anthony Williams led Friendship with 15 points while Allen Heaston had eight and Zac Anderson seven.

Watertown will visit Pickett County Tuesday, Jan. 8 while Friendship Christian will entertain Red Boiling Springs.

WILSON CENTRAL 44, GALLATIN 20GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central improved to 13-4 overall and 3-1 in District 9AAA following Friday's 44-20 home win over Gallatin. Wildcat junior Jacob Williams led all scorers with 19 points and Blake Huffman added 11.

WCHS will visit Station Camp Tuesday, Jan. 8.

MT. JULIET 50, BEECH 35SHACKLE ISLAND -- Nolan Chowbay fired in 18 points Friday as Mt. Juliet knocked off Beech 50-35 in a District 9AAA contest. The Golden Bears improved to 8-7 overall and 3-1 in the league.

Hunter Gilbert ripped a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 15 points while Daniel Schroder and Reagan Johnson each had six.

Mt. Juliet will host Hendersonville High Tuesday, Jan. 8.

STATION CAMP 55, LEBANON 53LEBANON -- Trailing for most of the game, Station Camp got a late 3-pointer from Trae Hatcher to defeat Lebanon 55-53 Friday at Campbell Brandon Gym.

The Blue Devils had a couple of attempts for a game-winner, but the Bison managed to hold on for the win. Hatcher led Station Camp with 15 points, including three 3-pointers.

Lebanon got 15 points (and four 3-pointers) from Zimmer Hunn. Ninth grader Yalen Reed added 12 and DeShawn McMurry had seven.

LHS, now 5-11 overall, 1-3 in District 9AAA, hosts Gallatin Tuesday, Jan. 8.

EZELL-HARDING 86, MJ CHRISTIAN 62ANTIOCH -- Ezell-Harding opened up a 20-6 lead early and never slowed down in Friday's 86-62 home win over Mt. Juliet Christian Academy. Trevor West led the Saints with 18 points -- on six 3-pointers. Brandon Wall added 16 (four 3-pointers) and Wyatt Oberg had nine points on three 3-pointers.

MJCA will visit Donelson Christian Academy Tuesday, Jan. 8.
