The medallion is always a big hit, Carter said.
But also this year the auction features a handmade wooden ship model of The Atlantic, a famous racing schooner that was acquired by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Also included in the auction is a trip for four to Fairmont Chateau Whistler in British Columbia, Canada, the Presidents Dinner with CU President Dr. Harvill Eaton and much more.
Entertainment will be provided by the Craig Duncan Orchestra. Chartwell will cater the event.
Dr. and Mrs. James Bradshaw will be honored for their contributions to Cumberlands Board of Trust and to the community.
The Ball begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, and tickets may still be purchased online at www.phoenixball.com/tickets. Tickets are $300 per person and table sponsorships are $3,000 and up.
