MT. JULIET -- Mr. Patrock, 73, of Hermitage, died April 6, 2010 following an extended battle with cancer. Mr. Patrock proudly served his country in the US Navy and the Air Force (SAC) during the Korean War. He had a lifelong love for aviation and retired from American Airlines after 30 years of service. Mr. Patrock was a member of the Central Tennessee 2-way Communication Operations Group. His call sign was Pat#624.
The family will receive friends 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at 1012 Lakeview Drive, Hermitage.
Survivors include: children Francis Wilson, Dr. Richard Patrock, Dorothy “Dody” Patrock, RN, Donald Patrock, Jr., Victoria Ann Patrock and Nick Patrock. Also surviving are grandchildren Patricia, Amanda, Dustin, Danielle Joy, Brandon, Agam, Victoria, Donald, III, Sophia-Joy, Nicole, Christopher, Andrew and Caitlin Marie; great-grandchildren Isaiah, Breanna, Ramiro and Lilly Anna; nieces and nephews Sherry, Patricia, DeeDee, Bryce and Brian; cousin and friend Dorothy Poluna; dog Nike; as well as family in his second home of Melbourne, Australia, the birthplace of his beloved wife.
He was the son of the late Nick and Anna Ruttner Patrock. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joy Patrock and his brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Marie Patrock.
