On Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3, the WCRTA will hold a benefit estate sale at the Kirkpatrick house at 601 West Main Street, Lebanon. The house will be open Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and again on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"Ward Case, the Kirkpatrick’s nephew from Sugar Land, Texas, approached me with the idea of supporting the scholarship fund with part of the Kirkpatrick estate. When I brought the idea to our members in April, they graciously accepted the offer. Maggie Lou Kirkpatrick taught school for 31 years and was a faithful member of our WCRTA," said WCRTA President Dianne Cozart.
"Getting ready for a sale has been a learning experience for me. I am so thankful for family, good friends and members of WCRTA who have worked tireless hours the last month to help me. We are all looking forward to a busy and successful weekend," she added.
