Free to the public, the day-long Expo beginning at 9 in the morning will feature besides Jones a number of other entertainers, renowned authors and will host some 60 exhibitors. Also scheduled are special seminar presentations by Middle Tennessee Electric, Sterling Health Plans, Dr. Ming Wang, Lee and Lee Attorneys and University Medical Center. Also scheduled is an auto exhibit by Wilson County Chevrolet-Buick.
Jones will be at the Expo to greet fans and be available for photographs of him with “The General Lee.”
According to his bio, Jones has had a “long and varied career in show business and political life.”
Born in North Carolina, he grew up in what he describes as a railroad shack in a freight yard on the docks of Portsmouth, Va. He discovered theatre as a student at the University of North Carolina. Jones has appeared in more than 200 films, television shows and theatrical productions including the role he played as “Cooter” on “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
