From Post staff reports
It was back to work this week on Coles Ferry Pike as the Commanders of Friendship Christian put last weeks thrilling 24-14 victory at Trousdale County behind them and started working on tonights quarterfinal opponent -- the 10-1 Boyd Buchanan Bucs.

The Class 2A quarterfinal game cranks up at 6 p.m. CST at David L. Boyd Field -- also known around Chattanooga as The Swamp.

Friendship enters tonights contest 9-3 overall and winners of five consecutive games.

Boyd Buchanan has won two straight in the post season following a 26-10 loss to South Pittsburg back on Oct. 14. Last weeks 17-13 victory over Rockwood was a come-from-behind affair as the Bucs trailed 10-0 at intermission.

The winner of tonights game will take on the winner of the Oneida - Oliver Springs game. With a win tonight. FCS would travel for the semifinal contest.
