Four charged in Polo store burglary

While en route to the call, Officer Joe Bowen spotted a vehicle leaving the shopping center. He stopped the vehicle. During the stop, Bowen was notified that the stores window had been broken out.


A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of four individuals from Memphis in connection with the burglary. Police were able to recover approximately $7,000 in stolen merchandise.


Those arrested were Tony T. Bowen, 19, charged with Burglary and Criminal Responsibility; Matthew N. Rickett, 19, charged with Burglary and Theft over $500; Bronson A. Clay Jr., 18, charged with Burglary and Theft over $500; and Nicholas T. Wright, 21, charged with Burglary and Theft over $500.


Bowens bond was set at $3,500 while bonds for Rickett, Clay and Wright were set at $7,500 each. All four remain in the Wilson County Jail.
