GORDONSVILLE -- Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 26 t the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes for Mr. Williams, 71 of Gordonsville.
A construction superintendent, Mr. Williams died Saturday afternoon, April 23, 2011 with his loving family by his side.
Born May 6, 1939 to the late Toney and Ollie Stewart Williams of the Bowlings Branch Community, he was a 1959 graduate of Gordonsville High School.
He worked for T. W. Frierson Construction Company for many years until a life altering auto accident on August 20, 2000 left him disabled. He attended the Gordonsville Church of the Nazarene.
Services were conducted by Bro. Jerry Payne and Bro. Shane Smith. Interment was in the Gordonsville Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife of 49 years Wilma England Williams; children Danny (Tammy) Williams of Gordonsville, Roberta (Chris) Chambers of Lebanon and Frankie (Terry) Dickerson of Hickman; grandchildren Chasen Williams, Tenille Williams, Ethan Chambers, Nolan Chambers and Mallory Dickerson.
Also surviving: brother Robert Louis (Erlene) Williams of Defeated, sister Linda Williams Buster of Lebanon and adopted foster daughter, Zaharia Kahar (Mark) Rutt of Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Honorary pallbearers were the 1959 Class of GHS and employees of T. W. Frierson Construction Co.  Active pallbearers: Carl Williams, Jimmy Williams, Bevy Reed Brendel, Scottie Fitzpatrick, Tim Manning and Sterling Buster.
The family request that memorials be made to the Gordonsville Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
