Non-region games highlight the prep football schedule tonight for Wilson County teams. All but one local team is on the road this evening while one squad, Watertown High, is idle.
Wilson Central High (0-1) plays the only home game in the county as the LaVergne Wolverines (1-0) visit for a 7 p.m. game at Wildcat Stadium. Central dropped a 20-14 loss to Gallatin last week while LaVergne smoked Antioch 31-0.
Lebanon High (0-1) will go on the road to Winchester Friday evening to take on Franklin County High (1-0). LHS lost a 38-13 decision to Mt. Juliet while Franklin County outlasted Chattanooga Howard 42-30. Mt. Juliet (1-0) plays at McGavock High. McGavock was idle last week while the Bears were busy topping Lebanon 38-13.
Friendship Christian, 0-1, after a 28-20 loss to DCA, is on the road at White House-Heritage. WHH (1-0) stopped Davidson Academy 35-28 last week.
Mt. Juliet Christian Academy (0-1) will play at 1-0 Red Boiling Springs. The Saints lost to Community High 34-7 last week. RBS beat Pickett County 47-13.
