GALLATIN -- Lebanon’s girls held off a late Station Camp surge to knock off the Lady Bison 42-36 Friday, Jan. 3 in a District 9-AAA contest.
Madison Sloan and Kelsey Yarbrough led LHS with 10 and nine points. Jameka Dowell chipped in with eight and Morgan Bruce added seven points.
Lebanon improved to 6-7 overall, 1-2 in District 9-AAA with the win.

GALLATIN -- The Blue Devils were outscored 18-6 in the fourth quarter in a 53-43 loss to Station Camp.
Eddie McDaniels led LHS with 13 and K.K. Garnett added 10 -- including a pair of 3-pointers. Corvell Huddleston chipped in with eight points.
Lebanon slipped to 10-3 overall / 2-1 in 9-AAA.
(girls) Gallatin 45, Wilson Central 37
GALLATIN -- Wilson Central saw a 34-25 lead evaporate in Friday's 45-37 loss to Gallatin. The Lady Wave outscored WCHS 20-3 in the fourth quarter -- holding Wilson Central without a field goal in the final eight minutes.
Surging GHS improved to 10-6 overall, 2-2 in 9-AAA while the Lady Wildcats fell to 9-4 overall, 2-1 in the district.
Hailey Averitt had 14 in the loss, including four 3-pointers. Dominique St. Louis added 13 and Hannah Brewer had five points.

GALLATIN -- Three Wilson Central players scored in double figures as the Wildcats topped Gallatin 52-43 Friday, Jan. 3. Ben Palmer scored 18 points, Jason Williams added 16 and Jon Rosshirt had 10 for the 9-3 / 2-1 ‘Cats.
(girls) Mt. Juliet 55, Beech 36
The Mt. Juliet Lady Bears took control with a 13-3 third period run and went on to post a 55-36 victory over Beech Friday.
Sally McCabe scored 17 points for Mt. Juliet while Ronjanae DeGray added 12 and Ashley Roby chipped in with 10 points.
Mt. Juliet improved to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in 9-AAA with the win.

Mt. Juliet's Golden Bears held a 44-29 lead after three quarters and went on to win 51-44 over the Bucs in Friday's nightcap.
Reagan Johnson had 11 points, Nolan Chowbay 10 and John Mark Bell hit three 3-pointers for his nine points.
Coach Troy Allen’s team now stands 9-6 overall, 2-1 in district play.
WHS hosts Merrol Hyde
Watertown High’s basketball teams will host Merrol Hyde Thursday, Jan. 9 in a 6 p.m. doubleheader. A Jan. 6 game at Westmoreland has been postponed indefinitely.

MADISON -- The Tigerettes dropped to 10-6 overall / 2-1 in District 8-A following a 63-52 loss at Goodpasture Friday, Jan. 3.
Bobbi Staats finished with 17 points for Watertown while Dae Dae Nunley added 10 and Alicia Jennings had seven points.

MADISON -- A cold third quarter helped lead to Watertown’s 79-47 loss at Goodpasture Friday. The Tigers, 6-9 / 2-1 in 8-A, got 13 points each from Seth Price and Ty Jobe.
