Mt. Juliet High improved to 3-0 on the season by knocking off previously undefeated Whites Creek 15-12 Friday night. Mt. Juliet's 15 points were the first allowed by the Cobra defense this year.
The Golden Bears overcame an early blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown with 348 yards in total offense -- 224 on the ground and 124 via the pass. QB Reed Gurchiek completed 6-of-13 attempts for a TD, but was picked off three times by the Cobra secondary.
Friendship Christian went on the road and spanked Clay County High 58-0 in Celina. The Commanders improved to 4-0 on the season.

Watertown upped its record to 2-1 with a lopsided 50-0 victory over Red Boiling Springs Friday night at Robinson Stadium. The Tigers set the tone early as Ben Smith returned the opening kickoff 83 yards for a TD.
Moments later Dylan Holycross streaked in from 48-yards out for a TD as the Tigers gave RBS (2-1) its first loss of the season.
Quarterback Dalton Phillips completed 11-of-17 passes for 126 yards and three scores. Holycross rushed for 107 yards 13 carries and scored twice. He also caught three passes for 40 yards and a TD.
Gerald Howse rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns to help Siegel spoin Wilson Central High's homecoming 45-0. The Wildcats fell to 0-4 with the loss, Siegel evened its record at 2-2.
Down 17-0 at intermission, the Wildcats surrendered two third quarter touchdowns as Siegel expanded their margin to 31-0.
