“We ended up with 126 homes under contract” and an average of 70 days on the market, which she said was the number of days since September 2008. She reported that Mt Juliet continues to be ahead of the numbers in many areas.
Mt Juliet recorded 55 of the 99 closings with median days on the market of 73 and a median sales price of $234,900. Of the homes sold in Mt. Juliet, 24 were “new construction” residences.
There were 36 homes closed in the Lebanon area with median days on the market of 72 and a median sales price of $197,204. Eleven of the homes sold in Lebanon were new construction residences.
There was one condo in Wilson County to close in February located in Lebanon at a sales price of $235,580. It was new construction property and was on the market 78 days. There are currently 15 condos under contract, 11 in West Wilson County and four in Lebanon.
Hamilton said “the condo market is increasing in Wilson County as more people are beginning to choose the maintenance free way of life.” She said the real estate market in Wilson County is continuing to see positive reports.
