LEBANON -- Winfree Bryant Middle School Principal Becky Kegley announced late Tuesday the hiring of Jody Criswell as the new football coach of the Aviators.

Criswell, a native of West Tennessee who played for NAIA semifinalists Lambuth University in 1996, takes over for Jeramy Ezell who resigned last month to take a position at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville.

Former Lebanon and Mt. Juliet High girls basketball coach Larry Inman has been inducted into the Blue Raider Athletic Hall of Fame at Middle Tennessee State University.
    
The head coach at Tennessee State University for the past two years, Inman and his wife Bobbie Gene presently make their home in Wilson County, just off Highway 70.

Veteran junior college coach Brittany Harry has been hired to take over the volleyball program at Cumberland University.

Harry, head coach at Vincennes University in Indiana for the past three seasons, takes over a CU program headed by Dewayne Deering for the past 26 years.

Lebanon native Chris Hall has accepted a scholarship offer to continue his baseball career and education at the University of Tennessee.
    
Hall, a second team NAIA All-American at Cumberland University in 2014, will be eligible to play immediately for the Vols.
