BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Clint Meadows tossed a complete-game four-hitter and Phil Stiles and Ryan Simmons each posted three hits and scored twice in Cumberland's 6-1 victory over 19th-ranked Campbellsville University on Thursday at Bowling Green Ballpark.

With the victory the Bulldogs (20-29) advance to the winner's bracket final Friday at 3 p.m. against the winner of Thursday's late game between Lindsey Wilson and Shawnee State.

The coaching merry-go-round in Middle Tennessee took another spin this week when Lebanon High girls basketball coach Courtney McFarland stepped down for personal reasons.

McFarland, head coach of the Devilettes since April of 2012, informed the team of her decision during a Monday afternoon meeting.
