LHS wrestling golf tournament
The Lebanon High Blue Devil Wrestling Program will host a fundraising golf tournament Friday, Sept. 19 at the Pine Creek Golf Course. A 1:30 p.m. shotgun start is planned with lunch / check-in at 12 Noon.
Entry fee is $100 per player and includes lunch, goodie bags, range balls and door prizes. Hole sponsorships are still available at a variety of levels. All proceeds will go toward uniforms, equipment and team travel.

Voyles Classic X-County race
SMYRNA -- Lebanon High senior Mark Britt logged a 16:41.17 and finished eighth overall in a field of 410 runners in the annual Voyles Classic Cross Country Meet Saturday at Sharp Springs Park.
Britt, a two-time state qualifier, was joined in the top 50 by two teammates as the Blue Devil harriers placed 10th out of 56 teams.
Friendship Christian is scheduled to host Wilson Central High Wednesday, Aug. 27 in a cross-county volleyball match. Action will start at 5 p.m. at the Bay Family Sportsplex on the FCS campus.
The Lady Commanders tuned up for Wednesday's match with a 4-1 victory at Lancaster Christian Academy Tuesday evening in Smyrna.
