Season passes for the 2015-2016 Wilson Central basketball season are now on sale at the school's main office.
Tickets are $40 per person and are good for nine varsity home games. The home-opener is Tuesday, Dec. 1 vs. Antioch.
1978 Mt. Juliet High graduate
Cathy Bender, one of Mt. Juliet High's all-time basketball greats, has been elected to the Vanderbilt Sports Hall of Fame.
A 1978 graduate of MJHS and an all-state guard on the 1977 Class AAA state championship team, Bender was the first African-American woman to receive a full athletic scholarship at Vanderbilt. A record-setting point guard for Vanderbilt, Bender went on the set both single-season and single-game records for assists.
