The L.I.F.E. Education Expo sponsored by the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber has been postponed from Nov. 7 to Jan. 30, 2010 “How do I get into college?”… “How do I pay for it?”… “What other options are out there?” They’re questions all high school students – and their parents – need to consider, but the answers aren’t always easy to find. That’s the idea behind the L.I.F.E. Education Expo sponsored by the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber, where students and parents will have access to experts to find solutions for these and other important issues related to life after graduation. At the expo, at Walter J. Baird Middle School in Lebanon, professionals and school representatives from a number of fields and institutions will offer free information about federal student aid, ACT preparation, the Tennessee Scholars Program, scholarships, college admissions, vocational training and much more. High school students attending the event can also register to win a $250 cash gift from Wilson Bank & Trust designed to help further one guest’s education. The Education Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission is free. For more information, call the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber at 444-5503. |
