LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, July 20 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Lynn, 70, of Lebanon. Born March 18, 1940, in Jackson County, he died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the University Medical Center in Lebanon. The son of the late Sanford and Sarah Clark Lynn, he served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1965. Mr. Lynn was a farmer and a Baptist. Services were conducted by Brother Paul R. Leftrick. Friends served as pallbearers. Interment followed at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Survivors include: children, Cynthia Lynn, Terry (Juanita) Lynn and Tina Lynn -- all of Lebanon; grandchildren Matthew (Amanda) Lynn, Marah Lynn, Brittany Collins and Dakota Suire. Also surviving are siblings Sanford David Lynn of Gainsboro, Dorothy Shepard of Pegram, Donnetta Shepard and Phyllis Lynn -- both of Nashville, Brenda Mitchell of Gallatin and Linda Law of Westmoreland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret J. Johnson Lynn; sister Diana Lynn; and brothers Aaron, Ace, James, Roy and Ray Lynn.
