This past spring, county commission approved the funding for the new Lebanon High through the Build America Bond program at a cost not to exceed $50 million which includes all furniture needed for the new facility. The bonds were sold in April and the money wired to Wilson County.

Plans call for the new school to be ready for students in the fall of 2012.
