"We were looking to move to this side of Nashville in order to be closer to our granddaughters and the Lebanon position offered me the chance to lead my own volleyball program."
A 1975 graduate of Father Ryan, she earned a Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University.
She is married to Capt. Larry Jackson of the Metro Fire Department, and has two sons, Clint and Jody, and daughter Katie -- who all graduated from Father Ryan.
Her interests include outdoor activities, all sports and her two granddaughters.
Jackson replaces former coach Stephanie Harman, who resigned after taking the Devilettes to the TSSAA sub-state this past season.
Jackson will assume a fulltime teaching position in the LHS physical education department this fall.
