Joseph Clinton Toplovich, 78

WATERTOWN -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, February 23 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mr. Toplovich, 78, of Lebanon.

Born in Warren County, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Anna Popovich Toplovich, he died Feb. 21, 2009 at his residence.

A US Air Force veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Toplovich owned his own garage where he was an accomplished auto and diesel mechanic. A resident of Wilson County for some 54 years, he was retired from PFG in Lebanon, and enjoyed building radio controlled mini hotrods.

Services were conducted by Rev. Bill Patton. Burial was at the Jones Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include: daughters Ann (Dan Eagar) Toplovich of Nashville and Leslie (John) Reagan of Birmingham, AL; and grandsons Joseph Eagar, Jackson and Henry Reagan.

Also surviving are siblings: Victoria Baker of New York, Daniel and Carl Toplovich -- both of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law Mary Elizabeth Armstrong and Linda (Larry) Coleman as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Toplovich is preceded in death by his beloved wife Peggie Patton Toplovich and nine brothers and sisters.
