Lebanon man considered for Appellate Court

Shoaf received his undergraduate degree from West Point. He holds a law degree from Harvard University and a masters degree from Vanderbilt University.He is one of 25 applicants to replace three judges who are retiring.


The Judicial Nominating Commission is composed of 17 lawyers who must check the applicants and send their recommendations to Gov. Bill Haslam by June 30 when the panel will no longer legally exist.
