Lebanon officers thwart burglary attempt
The suspects were reportedly in the process of knocking a hole in the rear of the building. They were identified as John Baird, 26, of Mt. Juliet, and Elizabeth Hulse, 26, of Lebanon.
A records check revealed that Baird was on parole for a 2004 conviction on a charge of Attempted Second Degree Murder out of Wilson County.
Both suspects were taken into custody and charged with Burglary. They are to appear in General Sessions Court on March 1.
Lebanon Police Chief Scott Bowen praised the officers for their quick response, noting that it led to the timely arrest of these two individuals.
