LEBANON — Memorial services have been set for 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Gessner, 82, of Lebanon.
A Korean War veteran of the US Army, he died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at his residence.
The son of the late Lee and Grace Gessner, he was a retired Union carpenter in New Jersey and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 p.m. until the service.
Services wiull be conducted by Brother Billy Robinson. Interment will follow at Port Elizabeth Methodist Cemetery in Port Elizabeth, NJ.
Survivors include: his wife of 60 years Carolyn Breeden Gessner; children Lee (Deborah) Gessner III of Lebanon; Carolyn Gessner (Dr. Keith) Post of Wisconsin and Lorraine Gessner (John) Hansen of New Jersey.
Also surviving is brother John (Adelle) Gessner of Washington, PA; grandchildren Lee IV, Kimberly, and Drew Gessner, Alex, Lauren and Philip Post; Chelsea Elizabeth, Abigail and Perri Hansen.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
