SEAN PUTMAN MEMORIAL IS JUNE 15

LEBANON -- The fourth annual Sean Putman Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 15 at Five Oaks Country Club. A nine-hole recreational round for golfers 12 & under will tee-off at 8 a.m. followed by a four-man scramble at 1 p.m. All golfers will enjoy a complementary lunch buffet and goody bag.

Each participating junior also receives a special award/prize. Prizes for the main (adult) event are awarded to each golfer in the top three finishing teams for each flight. Prizes will also be awarded for longest drive (male & female) and closest to the pin (male & female).

Main event fees: $125 per player ($500 per team). Junior event fees: $25 per player (12 and under) and $25 per accompanying or playing adult. For more information, call 547-5629 or 548-1387.

Harbrecht memorial / chamber  -- The annual Dr. Cary Harbrecht Memorial Golf Tournament is set for Thursday, June 4 at the Pine Creek Golf Course, 1835 Logue Road. A fundraising event for the Lebanon / Wilson County Chamber of Commers, the 4-person, 18-hole scramble will feature both an 8 a.m. tee time and a 1 p.m. tee time. Entry fee is $500 per team, but an early bird special is available for a group wishing to play in the 8 a.m. group. Entry fee will be reduced to $400 per team, if payment is made before Friday, May 29. For more information, call Andrea at 444-5503.

Jr. golf at Hunters Point -- Hunters Point Golf Course will host its annual Coca-Cola Juniors Tournament Wednesday and Thursday, June 10 and 11. Boys and girls ages 11-17 are eligible. For info, call the pro shop at 444-7521.

HP ladies’ invitational -- The Hunters Point Golf Course will hold its annual Ladies’ Invitational Wednesday, June 24. An 8:30 a.m. shotgun start is planned. Entry fee is $45 per player which includes green fees a practice round and the tournament itself, cart (tournament only), prizes and lunch. For information, call the pro shop at 444-7521.
