WATERTOWN – Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, September 16 at the Hunter Funeral Home for Mrs. Patton, 84, of Watertown.
Retired from Hartmann Luggage where she worked as a seamstress, Mrs. Patton died Sept. 14, 2008 at the Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon.
Born in DeKalb County to the late Thurston and Josephine Summers Wells, Mrs. Patton was a member of the Ramah Baptist Church.
Services were conducted by Brother Stan Edwards with burial at Wilson Count Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children Sharon (George) Widuch of Hermitage and Jerry (Glenda) Taylor of Watertown; grandchildren Jeff Taylor, Whitney (Tony) Parsley and Carla (Dale Hollis) Taylor – all of Watertown, Vicky Taylor and Rachel (Scott) Cothran – all of Nashville, Daryl (Tammy) Taylor of Lebanon and Dewayne Taylor of Boaz, AL.
Also surviving are 10 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren; siblings: Jimmy (Jodean) Atnip of Watertown, Junior Atnip and Dean Thompson – both of Smithville as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patton is preceded in death by husband Howard D. Patton, son Boyd Lee Taylor, three brothers and three sisters.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
