From Post Staff Reports

Lebanon Police arrested one man and confiscated three loaded guns in an incident that occurred on Oct. 22.

Officers responded to the call, made about 2:30 p.m., Oct. 22, in Inman Court, a federal housing project. The caller said an armed suspect pointed a shotgun at another man during an altercation.

The suspect was identified as Wayne Reynolds, 60, of 1001 Inman Court. When officers made contact with Reynolds, Chief Scott Bowen said the suspect reportedly had a loaded .32 caliber revolver in each back pocket and that a loaded shotgun was found inside the door of his apartment.

All three weapons were confiscated by officers and removed from the apartment.

Bowen said after reviewing Reynolds past criminal history, police expect further charges to be filed against him related to the possession of the weapons. Reynolds has been charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of a weapon while under the influence.

In addition, the chief said, police have requested that Reynolds be evicted from public housing due to his arrest. Since April, he said, approximately 30 residents have been evicted from Public Housing due to criminal activity.
