While investigators were surveying the crime scene, Bowman said a call came in that a local known prostitute was picked up Tuesday morning in the vicinity of the incident with blood stains visible on her shoes.
After questioning Tabitha Donnelly about the apparent robbery and break-in, she admitted she was at the Plaza 231 Inn with the alleged intruder, identified as Felton Jackson.
Bowman said Jackson was traced to his mother’s home in a nearby mobile home park and was being questioned about the incident.
Charges against Donnelly and Jackson were likely to come about late Tuesday, Bowman added.
