Mayor has support if taxes stay the same
To the Editor: I am commenting on the full page ad paid for by the friends of Mayor Philip Craighead. I am glad to see that the Mayor has support. He has mine if he does not raise taxes. I personally pay way too much for services that don’t improve my quality of life. If I had the funds in my budget to pay for a full page ad, money would not be an issue. It is, and we must budget with what is left after the government takes what they please.
If the friends of Mayor Craighead are so intent on raising our taxes instead of reducing government spending, they should set up a fund so when I overspend for my quality of life and future I can just walk in to city hall and take what I want. Jack ReynoldsLebanon
