McLemore collected seven tackles in the contest and posted the third and fourth career interceptions for the redshirt sophomore.
The Franklin native picked off an underthrown ball and raced 36 yards for the score with 2:15 left in the first half, just beating everyone to the pylon for the touchdown and giving Cumberland a 19-0 lead.
His second interception came less than five minutes into the third quarter, this one a 32-yard score with a convoy of teammates leading him into the end zone.
The Centennial High School product played basketball at Union University during the 2008-09 academic year before transferring to CU and playing in 10 contests last season. He started the season opener at safety and made 24 tackles for the year with two interceptions. McLemore has stepped into a starting role at cornerback in 2010 and has nine tackles through the first two games.
Cumberland plays Kentucky Christian this Saturday in Huntington , W.Va. , on the Marshall University campus. The Bulldogs host West Virginia Tech on Sept. 25 to start a three-game homestand.
