Merry Christmas from The Post
We take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas.
As you can tell, we moved our publication date up for our regular Wednesday paper as Christmas Day is tomorrow. The date on the paper says Dec. 25, but that is for certain legal requirements. In our paper today, you will see the regular news stories, but you’ll also find a listing of Christmas Eve services many local churches are holding. If you don’t see your church listed, we urge to check with them for information.
This is, of course, a special time of the year. Many will attend services tonight and perhaps tomorrow, too, to honor and celebrate the birth of Jesus. And later, families will gather ‘round the Christmas tree to open presents, share a meal and maybe watch some TV.
There are families who can’t be together this holiday season. Perhaps they live out of state, and perhaps they are overseas serving our country in the military. God bless those who serve.
Our office will close at noon today and will be closed on Christmas Day, as well, so our staff can spend the holiday with their families and friends. We will reopen at 8 a.m., Thursday.
Again, and on behalf of everyone who works here at The Wilson Post, we wish you a Merry Christmas.
