MSC honors Ben Miller

The Cumberland defense leads the Mid-South Conference in every category and ranks in the Top 10 nationally in scoring defense, total defense, sacks and third down conversions. The Bulldogs have held every NAIA opponent to 21 points or less and are allowing 13.8 points and 242.9 yards per game versus NAIA foes.

The last two opponents, Bethel Univ. and Union College , were averaging 458 and 498 yards per game, respectively, and 45 and 42 points per contest, but Cumberland held Bethel to 309 yards and 17 points on the road and then Union to 18 points and 241 yards in last week’s home victory.

Cumberland plays its final home game of the season this Saturday at 12 Noon against Belhaven University and closes the regular season November 13 at the Univ. of the Cumberlands.
