Camille DiBella of Scotch Plains, Harvey Cedars, L.B.I., N.J. and a part-time resident of Mt. Juliet died Tuesday April 15, 2008 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, New Jersey. Funeral services were held Saturday April 19t at Rossi Funeral home, Scotch Plains, N.J., with a Mass at St. Bartholomew The Apostle Church Scotch Plains, N.J. Born in Newark, Camille settled in Scotch Plains in 1956 with her husband and four children. Camille worked with Ann Kline and various manufactures retiring in 1982 from Vinira Clothing Company in Newark. Camille was a chairwoman for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in Newark, N.J. She was a member of both the Democratic Club and the Board of Election in Scotch Plains, N.J. and was a Union County N.J. Democratic Chairperson. She also belonged to the Scotch Plains Golden Agers. When in Tennessee she often met with the Wilson County Women’s Investment Group. Camille was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony R., in 1985 and her son Robert A., also in 1985. Surviving are children daughter Sandra "Sandy" (Jim) Donnell, Jasper (Ann) DiBella and Anthony DiBella. Also surviving is brother Joseph DeRose, sister Edith Amato; grandchildren Danielle Donnell Rodriguez of Mt. Juliet, Phillip A. Donnell, of Lebanon, Robert DiBella,Lisa (John) McNally, Michelle (Joe ) Lantini and Michael (Crissy) DiBella -- all of New Jersey; great-grandchildren Keaton and Francesca Rodriguez of Mt. Juliet; Jacey and Avery Lantini of Scotch Plains, N.J., and Ryan McNally of LongIsland, New York. Donations may be made in memory of Mrs. DiBella to Wilson Books From Birth,1320 S.
