Mouse over hint After four years of hard work and dedication, Wilson County’s top students were honored by their state legislators at a congratulatory breakfast on Friday, April 18.

"Out of the many events we as legislators attend, this is by far one of the most rewarding because it is gives us the opportunity to let these hard-working students know that we recognize and greatly appreciate their efforts. These students will one day be our leaders. It is important for them to realize that their actions and accomplishments today directly impact the future of our community," Beavers said.

The breakfast was sponsored by Wilson Bank & Trust and hosted at Five Oaks Country Club in Lebanon. Randall Clemons, Wilson Bank & Trust chief executive officer, and Elmer Richerson, Wilson Bank & Trust president, and other bank officials were on hand to meet the students and offer their congratulations.

"It’s a pleasure to honor our hard-working students in this way. I am grateful to Wilson Bank & Trust for making it possible," Lynn added.

The students enjoyed breakfast as they chatted with the legislators and local officials about their accomplishments and plans for the future. Each student was presented with a Joint Resolution, current Tennessee Blue Book signed by all three legislators, and a Tennessee flag lapel pin.
