By CONNIE ESH Redi-Air has officially taken over as the fixed based operator for the Lebanon Municipal Airport. The company, owned by Sonny Belew and Kerry Bay, with Myron Lasater as vice president for operations, purchased Middle Tennessee Aviation as of April 3 and is now operating the airport. As on-site manager, Lasater said the company plans to expand the flight school program at the airport and maintenance services, as well as continuing to provide all of the other services Lebanon has come to expect from the airport, "only better." "Having spent a half career flying for Cracker Barrel, now I want to bring the enthusiasm and excitement back to aviation in Lebanon," Lasater said. He also added that Redi-Air hopes to promote Lebanon and the surrounding area with a business model that is second to none. |
